Hi, I am Mélanie.

I'm a mobile pet photographer serving Ottawa-Gatineau and surrounding areas. I'm a lifelong animal lover, and I share my life with two German Shorthaired Pointers, Skye and Winter, who keep me on my toes and covered in dog hair. They're also the inspiration behind my business name.

My journey into photography began during my first trip to Europe (Scotland and Austria specifically). I then started capturing everyday moments with my own dogs on my iPhone, especially with Skye, who is beautiful but so very difficult to photograph. Wanting to do her justice pushed me to learn more and refine my skills. I'm a self-taught photographer, but I've taken multiple classes and seminars over the years to continue to grow and hone my craft.

I truly enjoy connecting with clients and their pets. Each session is a chance to slow down and honour the deep bond between people and the animals they love. Whether it's a joyful puppy session or a quiet, heartfelt goodbye, I feel incredibly lucky to help others preserve memories that will last long after the paw prints fade.
